The coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against coronavirus.
There are now 3 vaccination centres open in Harrow – at Byron Hall, Harrow; at The Hive stadium in Edgware; and another at Tithe Farm Sports and Social club, Rayners Lane. The Tithe Farm is the site closest to the surgery and is managed by staff from Simpson House and other local practices.
We are working with Harrow Health Community Services to invite our patients to book in for their COVID Vaccination. The order for invites is in line with the most up to date Government group criteria. Patients will be invited to book their vaccine according to age or risk category.
The priority groups for the Covid-19 vaccine can be shown below:
When you receive your invite please book an appointment as instructed. We would ask that patients DO NOT contact the practice regarding vaccinations. If you are eligible based on the government criteria you will be contacted as soon as an appointment becomes available. This is to ensure that our phone lines and reception staff are not overwhelmed.
We would encourage patients to be ready to accept their invite when we contact them. The majority of vaccination for high risk groups will be given between January and April 2021.
